Successor to the well liked 1602/2002 range, the 3-Series debuted in 1975 and would go on to be an even better seller for the Munich firm than its predecessor. Built initially in two-door form only, the newcomer made use of BMW's existing range of four- and six-cylinder overhead-camshaft engines. Four-door versions were added when the 3-Series was face-lifted (as the E30) for 1983, improved rear suspension arriving at the same time.

This timewarp example was supplied new to Guernsey, accounting for its exceptionally low mileage, just 27,260 on the odometer. Offered with its original handbook and service book recording some 30 services, all car one at BMW main dealers. Finished in Opal Green with contracting Beige cloth interior this automatic gearbox equipped saloon is described by the vendor as in excellent condition throughout. The car comes with aforementioned history file, V5C registration document and MOT.
