*Interesting history – first owner a French nobleman
*Low mileage
*Delightfully original

Popular in the UK when new the Renault Dauphine offered small-sized four-door motoring with a pleasing Gallic twist and its appeal saw it sell well in countries beyond its homeland. This 19757 example was originally owned by a French Count, our vendor says, and it took part in the 2009 Goodwood Revival celebrations marking Sir Stirling Moss' 80th birthday. Bodywork, paint (Taupe colour) and glass are vendor-assessed as excellent, with the trim and heels/tyres said to be very good. Beige vinyl seats are described as excellent, as is the floor covering, headlining and trim, while the dashboard and door cards are reported to be very good. Engine starting is said to be excellent (as is presentation) and its running very good, while the running gear is rated as excellent throughout, as are the electrics. An accompanying history file is described as very good.
