Setting the template for successive Jaguar saloons this 1946 2½-litre saloon is said to be the earliest example known to survive. The car offered is number 10 of the first 17 2 ½-litres built after the war and features numerous SS Jaguar parts which were not seen in later models. This car's bodywork, black paint, glass and chrome are vendor-assessed as very good, the wheels/tyres as excellent. The pigskin seats and trim are reported to be excellent and the dashboard, door cards and headlining as very good.
