*Bare-metal re-paint
*Interior 'very presentable'
*Recent brakes, battery and fuel pump

The early 1970s saw the rise in popularity of the sporting estate, driven in part by the launch of the Reliant Scimitar GTE in 1968. Both BMW and Volvo followed suit with estate versions of saloon models, BMW using the '02 and Volvo the P1800 Coupe. This example comes to the sale with excellent bodywork and a bare-metal re-spray ensures the paint is excellent too, while the glass and external trim said to be good. Interior-wise the seats, headlining, dashboard and door cards are vendor-assessed as very good and the trim as good. The vendor says the engine is good for starting, running and for presentation and the running gear is good too. A new battery and fuel pump have been fitted and the braking system has been re-freshed – invoices on file detail the work carried out.
