Manchester-based Crossley built cars between 1904 and 1937, producing a variety of models and along the way even making a handful of Bugattis under licence. This 20.9 tourer comes to auction with excellent bodywork and very good paint, which, our vendor says, was re-sprayed 'in recent times. The interior has vendor-assessed very good seats, carpet, trim and dashboard and rear passengers have the benefit of an Auster rear screen. The engine – a 3.2-litre overhead valve inline six – is rated as excellent for starting and very good for running and presentation and the running gear is described as very good throughout, as are the electrics.
