Cadillac's 'personal' car was aimed at the owner-driver rather than the corporate buyer looking to transport their executives in worry-free chauffeur-driven relaxation. This 1972 Eldorado was with one Californian owner until being sourced by a British collector in 2013, when it showed 75,224 miles. The vendor says this fully-optioned (central locking, climate control power seats) example has no rust and that the paint is perfect – a tan vinyl roof tops off the expansive bodywork. The interior remains in good order but after more than four decades in the sunshine state the leather seats show some cracks and would benefit from specialist attention.

Big luxury two-doors are seldom as impressive as this Eldorado, which is reported to be in great driving condition and the bodywork vendor-assessed as having no rust.
