*V8 engine stroked to 383 cubic inches
*Hand-built stepside body
With 'stroked' small-block V8 and a manual gearbox this well-presented pick-up offers eye-catching load-hauling has enjoyed many upgrades, the vendor says. The V8 engine, which is reported to be very good for starting, running and presentation, has been stroked to 383 cubic inches, since when it has covered 60 miles. Its specification includes Keith Black flat-top pistons, Edelbrock headers and carburetor, with power delivered through a four-speed manual gearbox with McCloud racing clutch to a LSD-equipped axle. The running gear too is reported to be very good. A new wiring loom and instrument gauges have been fitted. Bodywork and turquoise paint, as well as trim and glass, is said to be very good, as is the re-trimmed interior.
Since being imported from South Africa this Chevrolet C10, with stroked V8 engine and vendor-reported very good bodywork would make a highly-useful classic hauler.
