*Restored by a previous owner – bills on file
*Garaged and little used in last eight years
*Engine set up eight years ago

Colin Chapman's ethos of producing engaging, lightweight sports cars truly came to fruition with the Elan, which drew on the earlier Elite's attributes and developed a bigger customer base along the way. This later example is said to have a very good body and good paint, and the hood was replaced eight years ago. The glass and the wheels/tyres are in average order, the vendor says. The interior remains tidy with seemingly little wear. Engine starting and running, as well as components, are seller-rated as good and the underbonnet appearance as average, while gearbox and clutch, along with the brakes are said to be very good. The electrical system is said to be good and a battery isolation switch is fitted.

Restored by a previous owner and seeing little use in the last eight years, this Elan should please any old-school Lotus enthusiast.
