The creation of the HRDC Academy and its grids rammed with Austin A35s has proved a big hit with historic motor sport competitors and enthusiasts alike, and for anyone wanting to take part rather than sit in the grandstands this pioneering Academy 'peanut' is worthy of consideration. Our vendor says the bodywork and paint are excellent, the glass and trim very good and the competition-themed interior is reported to be very good throughout. The engine's starting and running is reported to be excellent, as is the underbonnet presentation, and the running gear, including gearbox, suspension and brakes is reported to be excellent.
The HRDC Academy has developed a strong following among competitors and spectators alike, so for someone wanting to 'have a go' this truly special A35 (which is eligible for the Goodwood Revival St Mary's Trophy) is a proven route onto the starting grid.
