*Early example of GM's 'ponycar'
Chevrolet couldn't be caught on the hop with Ford launching the Mustang, and its response was far from a token 'me-too' effort. Instead the Camaro brought the sales war back to the blue oval, helped by a seriously wide choice of engines, transmissions and of course body styles, although the Camaro came in two forms, coupe and convertible, lacking the fastback design the Mustang also offered. This 1968 convertible was imported in 2103 and is vendor-assessed to have good bodywork, electric blue paintwork (with white stripe) and steel wheels/tyres, The two-tone vinyl/cloth interior is said to present well, the plastics devoid of fading or neglect. The 350 cubic inch engine's starting, running and presentation is said to be good, as is the running gear.
Imported in 2013 this Camaro convertible remains in generally good order throughout.
