• 1998 AJS Matchless OC dating certificate
• A good usable Vintage mount
• Featured in The Classic Motorcycle

Acquired as a 'retirement' project by the current owner in 1998 and consisting of a frame, engine and various other small related parts. A dating certificate dated October 1998 was issued soon after acquisition by the A.J.S & Matchless Owners Club and accompanies the machine. Restoration commenced soon after and completed in circa 2006.

Perhaps not for the purist on account of various non original parts, home fabricated primary chain case, front forks, rear stand and non original hubs, this vintage sporting Matchless 'special' is nevertheless a useable machine which will provide the new owner with a great basis on which to improve.

A host of bills and receipts accompany the machine and includes past MOT and tax discs, a 2007 copy of 'The Classic Motorcycle' in which there is an article on the Matchless and various small tools and rubbers. Offered with a current V5C.
