*Early Mk3 Cortina
*33,608 miles from new
*Current owner for 30 years

After the chiseled, squared-up lines of the Mk2 Cortina the Mk3 was something of a revelation, being bigger and sporting voluptuous 'Coke-bottle' lines already seen on American cars. Many were built but few have survived, making this 33,000 miles from new 1600 GXL (most GXLs were fitted with the two-litre engine) something of a rarity. The bodywork is rated as very good, as is the metallic brown paint (a re-spray was carried out in 1990), trim and Rostyle wheels/tyres. The matching brown interior is in very good order, with seats, door cards and dashboard showing little signs of wear or fading. Our vendor says the engine is good for starting and running and the engine bay is good too. The running gear is reported to be good throughout and the electrics are also said to be very good.

Owned for 30 years this early range-topping Mk3 Cortina has covered 33,000 miles from new.
