*Reputedly one-off design
*Formerly the property of noted Bentley enthusiast Julian Paul
*Said to be in 'good mechanical order'
Bentley's advertising line 'The Silent Sports Car' could not have been more appropriate, because the combination of performance and mechanical integrity was seldom matched by rival manufacturers. Many coachbuilders supplied their wares, including Rippon, the Yorkshire-based concern whose pillarless coupé bodywork is fitted to this car. Our private vendor says this car is in 'good mechanical condition', 'starts easily', and that the engine bay is tidy. The rakish coupé bodywork features 'good' black and dark blue paint, while the interior features Bedford cloth and that the front seats have fitted covers. The dashboard is said to have been re-finished and the sunroof slides easily open. This stylish post vintage thoroughbred is presented in charming order which can be enjoyed as is, or improved upon if desired.
A supremely elegant example of The Silent Sports Car and one coming from a noted Bentley enthusiast, this 1935 3 ½-litre is described as being in 'good mechanical condition'and sports elegant pillarless coupé coachwork.
