The evergreen 'Pagoda' SL remains much appreciated in the classic world, whatever engine size it has. This 280SL was sold new in the USA and went to Japan before being imported in 2018, when it was MoT-tested and registered. In the hands of the vendor the car has enjoyed a £30,000 cosmetic restoration with work including a re-paint and the fitting of new floors. The vendor says that it drives beautifully.

Biggest-engined version of this model and, here, one that has enjoyed £30,000-worth of work since being imported in 2018. MPH's example should interest anyone who has yet to experience 'Pagoda' ownership.
