The Lexus range has expanded over the years from the original LS400 model into other saloons, sports cars and SUVs and the RX450 took European manufacturers on at their own game, while successfully upping the reliability and build quality ante to new levels for an SUV. MPH's 2010 RX450 has covered 174,000 miles from new but that mileage has been backed by a full Lexus service history, meaning it is good carry on racking up the distances while cosseting its occupants in superior comfort. This example boasts extremely good bodywork and paint, boasting first-class shut lines and no bumper scuffing. The interior is equally good, showing no signs or wear or maltreatment – a testament not only to Lexus build quality and material selection but to careful ownership. Engine, gearbox and running gear are all said to be very good. As a viable alternative to the later-generation Range Rovers the 450 makes great sense and this well cared-for model warrants closer inspection.
