In the late 1980s the car buyer who wanted the build quality of a BMW 3-series or a Mercedes-Benz 190 (but with better equipment levels) had the option of the Honda Accord. Today's modern classic scene has embraced all 1980s Hondas and an Accord makes a practical, reliable and handsome daily driver. Here is a manual gearbox 2.0 in EX trim which has covered 41,000 miles from new. Bodywork and trim is in very good order, the bumpers are scuff-free and the engine bay clean and tidy. Inside the blue cloth seats, trim and carpet are remarkably fresh and it is reported to be driving well. MoT-tested until November it warrants a closer inspection.
