The 6-series was BMW's XJ-S challenger, and today its popularity continues unabated as it remains a first-rate latter-day classic that is capable of daily use and covering high mileages. MPH's 628CSi has some service history (there are several BMW dealer service stamps in the book) and, overall, presents well. The bodywork and silver metallic paint is good, the panel fit good too and our vendor notes with a little effort this '6' could be made into an excellent example. 6-series interiors were always elegantly functional and this car's – more unusually in blue – has leather seats and is all original but remains in good order. Engine-wise it starts and runs well, and the engine bay is tidy. Running gear is also good. Keenly estimated this 628CSi looks good value and has scope for the new owner to add their mark.
