Even in smallest-engine guise the R107 model is a highly competent grand tourer of the highest order, and this Signal Red/tan interior 280 shows the care its six owners have lavished on it over the years. It should be noted the service history file includes some 18 services! The bodywork remains in very good order with typically exemplary panel shuts: the paint retains a deep shine and despite its age there is no sign of corrosion. It is the same with the interior, which is in fine condition and features the optional (and little seen) centre armrest. Offered with original book packs, jack, toolkit, First Aid kit and an alloy spare wheel, this example represents very good value.
