*Little seen in UK
*A fine example of the bigger Renault
*Comprehensive history

Renault's 1930s range covered everything from small cars to large luxury saloons and the Vivasix was positioned at the higher end. Featuring a 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine it was designed to cross France (and beyond) effortlessly. Offered today is a right-hand drive Vivasix landaulet that comes with a comprehensive history revealing it was sold new in Vienna (an early Austrian logbook accompanies the paperwork). The bodywork and paint is in very good condition and the trim and glass in excellent order and just-fitted new whitewalls tyres add to the appearance. The elegant interior is generally very good throughout, the dashboard and trim being especially so. When it comes to the mechanical side the picture is pleasing, the lusty six starting and running well and the underbonnet area being very tidy. Pre-war cars rightly remain popular and this larger Renault offers both elegance and long-distance capabilities – at a fraction of values of other large French cars from this period.
