The second generation Range Rover had a tough act to follow and while many initially gave it a cool reception as it became more familiar and was improved (including in build quality) the P38A could rightly assume the mantle of the original model. Here is a late P38A in 'Westminster' limited edition guise (just 200 built) – other limited editions included the Holland and Holland model. It offers good bodywork and very good paint (notably the bumper corners are not scuffed but the rear bumper is marked) while the wheels and tyres are reported to also be in good order. The P38A advanced the move towards luxury seen in the run-out original Range Rovers, and this car's interior has very good seats and dashboard, the headlining and trim being described as good. The electrical systems are good too. The V8 engine starts and runs well and the underbonnet area is pleasingly tidy: gearbox and brakes are reported to be excellent and the suspension very good. With few Westminsters being built this is a fine opportunity for the P38A enthusiast.
